Have a compact, quick meal on hand anytime for yourself or to give as a gift.
We usually make 5 or 6 at once to have on hand.


To make a interesting color pattern, first pour in the milk powder.

Remember to pack each layer before adding the next.

Next add the spices then the cornstarch.

On top tightly pack in the egg noodles.

Put the lid on and attach the directions to the jar with a piece of ribbon.


Instant Great Gift!

A One Quart Jar for each Meal you make. You can buy specific quart jars for canning at your grocery store, or quart sized empty spaghetti sauce jars. Just check to see that it holds 4 cups of water.
3/4 cup Instant Dry Milk Powder
1/3 cup Cornstarch
1 1/2 Tablespoons Beef Bouillon Granules (found in the soup aisle)
2 Tsp. Powdered or minced Onion
3/4 tsp. Dried Basil
3/4 tsp Dried Thyme
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
2 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 Cups Egg Noodles

1 jar Ground Beef Stroganoff Mix
1 and 1/2 lbs ground beef
4 Cups Water
In a large skillet brown gound beef and drain off the fat. Add 4 cups of water and the Stroganoff Mix to the skillet and stir. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, Cover and Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until noodles are tender.
